Do you do all the work yourself, or do you outsource projects?
I do all the copywriting myself.
I have a tight deadline to meet. Can you start on my copywriting project right away?
Meeting customer deadlines is something I take very seriously, and I would not take on a new project if it meant jeopardizing other projects already in progress; however, it’s certainly something we could discuss.
What are your rates?
That’s the $64,000 question (pun intended)! It really depends on your budget and requirements. Typically, I charge on a per-project basis, which makes it easier for you to budget. For example, writing white papers, case studies or web pages, will each be charged per project. Consultation and site visits would be charged at an hourly rate. Whatever you have in mind, I’m more than happy to discuss pricing with you.
What are your payment terms?
A 50% deposit of the project fee is required upon contract agreement in order to begin work, with the balance due on completion.
What do your fees include?
Fees include all of the work that we negotiate in advance – i.e., planning, research, writing and editing the copy, as necessary.
What if I want to make revisions?
Our agreement will include a provision for revisions, typically up to three, provided they are requested within 30 days of receipt of the copy and do not alter the scope of the assignment after copy has been submitted.
We’re in different cities/countries/time zones. Can we still work together?
That’s the beauty of the Internet! In today’s connected world, working with clients in different cities or countries should be no obstacle. If a face-to-face meeting is required, we can certainly use video calling apps like Zoom, Google Meet, Skype, FaceTime or WhatsApp.
